Deepak is an entrepreneur, educator, author, scientist, inventor, investor, former algorithmic derivatives trader and member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).

Previously, Deepak was a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley during the Great Financial Crisis, a Silicon Valley fintech entrepreneur, a director in the Global Planning Department at Mastercard International, and a senior analyst with Diamond Technology Partners (later acquired by PwC).

Deepak began his career in his family’s real estate company in Mumbai, where he successfully revived a struggling cement factory before leading its sale. 

He was educated at Princeton University (astrophysics) and the London School of Economics (accounting, finance and information systems).

Deepak's prior professional credentials include the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation, several FINRA securities and California insurance licenses in 2008, as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2003.
